AgeAlive Designated Program of Merit by Generations United

AgeAlive has been honored with a Program of Merit designation by Generations United in recognition of our efforts to foster meaningful intergenerational connections. This designation highlights the effectiveness of our diverse programming in bringing together younger and older adults to share experiences, knowledge, and support. Through our efforts to foster intergenerational connections, AgeAlive received a Program of Merit designation by Generations United. This designation recognizes diverse intergenerational programming and its effectiveness at connecting younger and older adults.

Generations United defines Intergenerational programs as policies, and practices that increase cooperation, interaction, and exchange between people of different generations, allowing them to share their talents and resources, and support each other in relationships that benefit both the individuals and their community.

From our Generations Connect program to our Town & Gown Series, AgeAlive continues to foster connection, learning and well-being across generations. We celebrate the value of mutual learning, shared experiences, and inclusion at all life stages.
