AgeAlive has been honored with a Program of Merit designation by Generations United for the second consecutive year in recognition of its efforts to foster meaningful intergenerational connections. This designation highlights the effectiveness of AgeAlive’s diverse programming in bringing together younger and older adults to share experiences, knowledge and support.
Generations United defines intergenerational programs as policies and practices that increase cooperation, interaction and exchange between people of different generations, allowing them to share their talents and resources while supporting one another in relationships that benefit both individuals and their communities.
From the Generations Connect program to the Town & Gown Series, AgeAlive continues to foster connection, learning and well-being across generations. Through these initiatives, AgeAlive celebrates the value of mutual learning, shared experiences and inclusion at all stages of life.
