2025 MSU AgeAlive Research Forum: Register Now!
MSU Agealive will host its annual Research Forum on Thursday, April 3, 2025, themed “Diverse Living Environments for Aging Well: Exploring Options and Solutions,” focusing on interdisciplinary work that is being conducted on behalf of the aging population including housing-related initiatives. The event will be held from 9 am – 1 pm in person at the MSU Federal Credit Union Farm Lane Branch (4825 Mt. Hope Rd) in East Lansing. An Upper Peninsula remote viewing site will also be hosted at the Ishpeming Multi-Purpose Senior Center (121 Greenwood St) in Ishpeming where speakers will present virtually. Participants will also be able to participate virtually through Zoom.
In addition to opening remarks focused on current housing trends, aging-related research gems presentations will be held along with a special housing panel featuring representatives from the City of Lansing, City of East Lansing, AARP, Shared Use Housing Advocacy Network, and area developers. Exhibitors from area agencies supporting older adults will be onsite at the East Lansing and Ishpeming sites.
Admission is free with registration; online donations are welcome. A light breakfast will be provided with pastries from Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge for the East Lansing site. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided at the Ishpeming site provided by the senior center.
