Town & Gown: What the World Needs Now – Caregivers

This presentation focuses on the extraordinary, groundbreaking work being done in Michigan to address this major issue. MSU IMPART Alliance, grounded in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and directed by Dr. Luz, has been working with the State of Michigan and statewide partners for two decades on efforts to expand and support the direct care workforce. The work is driven by an integrated strategies framework that is resulting in unprecedented progress and garnering national attention. Attendees will learn more about the status of caregiving in Michigan, solutions being developed, and a push to establish a Caregiving Ecosystem that provides hope and promise for all in Michigan who are touched by caregiving experiences.
