Dr. Lee’s research focuses on advancing human health and well-being by enhancing the healing properties of built environments in healthcare and hospitality contexts. Her research aims to propose design attributes that improve accessibility and inclusivity and foster nature connections that promote healing. Her work integrates emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and biosensors, into design evaluations that measure users’ emotional, psychological, and behavioral responses to environmental design attributes.
